Heating in MRLR
On Friday, September 13th, I and my partner were working together in the Marjorie Robinson Library Rooms on the first floor. The study room we were in was colder than the outdoor temperature; we were unable to work after a certain point. These rooms are a great resource, but not if they're that uncomfortable. Of course, it's unseasonably cold at the moment, but nonetheless the university study spaces should be usable during opening hours.

Library Response

Many thanks for your comment and apologies you found the temperatures in the study room at MRLR to be on the cooler side.

I’ll report this to Estates who control the heating to see how the figures fit within their window of 19-21 degrees.

Regards

David
