Room Bookings
Hi,
I'm a graduate from Newcastle University having completed my Master's in 2022 in Computer Science. I possess my university consultation card to get access in places like the library. Since I'm an alumni and possess a consultation card instead of a university ID card, I'm unable to book study rooms. Also my university email ID is deactivated. This is a time when I have to give numerous interviews, hence require a silent space. I kindly request you grant me access to book silent study rooms.

Our individual study rooms are a scarce resource and are in high demand.     I hope, as a former student, you can appreciate that current student requirements are our priority.   I am sorry, therefore, that you are not able to book an individual study room.   

You are very welcome to continue to use the Library as a quiet space for interview preparation.    The University Careers Service may be able to offer you some advice on suitable locations.
