Yes, the University Library has an agreement with the Northern Region NHS to allow its staff to join the library free of charge. Full details can be found here.

When you come to join the library, please bring a recent NHS payslip (from the last 3 months) or a current contract. We are unable to accept NHS ID cards as verification as they are undated.

NHS membership allows you to use all three of the libraries at the University. The Walton Library specialises in medical, dental & biomedical resources and we also have a specialist Law Library. The Philip Robinson Library is our main library and it holds resources for all other subjects.
