We have made some improvements to our student Inter-Library Loans Service over the summer.

From now on, when students request an interlibrary loan for a book, we will look at the possibility of purchasing the title first.  If this is not possible, we will proceed with an inter-library loan and try to get a copy from another library for you to borrow. So, when you click on 'Inter-Library Loans' and log in, you will go to a new page 'Make a purchase request - Books on Time'.

On this page, there are two options to choose from, one for requesting a book, and another for non-book requests (such as an article/chapter).  Choose the appropriate option and complete the relevant form.

Please ensure that you let us know on the form how soon you need the item by completing the 'Date required by' field.  We will be in touch with you to let you know if we can get the item for you and whether it will be a purchase or an Inter-Library Loan.
