The Gertrude Bell archive is curated by the University's School of History, Classics and Archaeology.  All items from the collection can be consulted in the Special Collections Reading Room at the Robinson Library, with the exception of the photographic albums because of their current fragility.

Digital copies of Gertrude Bell's extensive photographic albums, together with transcripts of most of her letters and all of her diaries are available to browse at the dedicated Gertrude Bell website.

The School of History, Classics and Archaeology can provide copies of the photographic section of the archive.  Click here to make a request.

Further details concerning the photographic archive can be obtained from Gianluca Foschi at g.foschi2@newcastle.ac.uk.
