Robinson Library Noise levels & coffee
I am trying to use the Robinson library to finish a project in the evening over a weekend. There are people laughing and talking in the large computer cluster. Its always like this. It doesn't help that its just a massive open space. And the cafe is closed. There is no coffee machine. Please could you install a coffee machine and have staff who can just check on noise levels. Or please keep the Marjorie Robinson open late for postgraduates, staff and associates - I would be overjoyed, thank you! :-))

I'm sorry to hear that you have been disturbed by noise in the library. We have a Noise Alert Service, so if you are being disturbed in any of our libraries you can text 07891 484 764 and a library colleague will come and deal with the disturbance. I will pass on your comments regarding the installation of a coffee machine to the University catering Manager as this is not something that the Library would provide.

Best wishes,
