Many academic and university libraries in the UK make their catalogues available on-line. This includes the British Library. Other services, such as Library Hub Discover, search catalogues from many libraries.

Remember you may not have access to their online resources such as e-books, e-journals and databases.

It may be possible for you to visit, borrow items or arrange an Inter-Library loan from other libraries. If you want to visit another academic library, please contact them in advance to confirm their access policies.

As a resident of Newcastle, you can also join the City Library for free and borrow from their collection.

To search the nearest libraries to you  (both public and academic) you can sign up free for worldcat and look for articles, books and dvds.
