Maths-Aid provide assistance and advice on all aspects of maths and statistics. Maths-Aid tutors can help all undergraduate and taught postgraduate (PGT) students who are not in the School of Maths, Statistics and Physics, with the exception of stage 1 undergraduate students from the School of Maths, Statistics and Physics. 

Remote appointments can be booked using the following web form: 'maths-aid booking form'.

They can help you with:

  • mastering mathematical methods
  • revising for exams with a quantitative element
  • understanding statistical tests
  • using SPSS
  • practising graduate numerical skills tests

Maths-Aid are located on Level 1 of the Marjorie Robinson Library in room 1.16.

They cannot assist you with any assessed work, but can help by providing similar examples so you can learn how to do it yourself.
