The University is dedicated to supporting colleagues who have assistance or guide dogs. Assistance dogs are permitted to access all University-owned buildings, on a lead and under the control of their handler. Due to the nature of our shared workspace and for the comfort of all customers and wellbeing of animals, it is not possible to bring emotional support animals, pet dogs or other pets into the libraries.
We would expect assistance dogs to display expected behaviours as outlined by the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
