Long loan items are loaned for up to 20 weeks, dependent on demand/requests/recalls.
It can be helpful if you are leaving Newcastle for a period of time to consider returning your loans and having them reissued to you at the Library Help Desk - this will begin your loans on a new 20 week loan period.
When reviewing your loans in your library account online it is possible to see the 'maximum loan date' for items by following the steps shown below.
Always remember that loans are subject to requests and recalls from other patrons.
1) Log in to the library website by clicking 'My Account'
2) Click the 'Loans' tab
3) Expand the details on an item by clicking the downward facing arrow
4) The maximum loan date is displayed at the bottom of the details information
Always remember that loans are subject to requests and recalls from other patrons.
