Within the text editor in Canvas you can embed elements of your course’s reading list to direct your students to rather than having to go to the full list on the left hand side navigation.

Choose the Apps  button from the toolbar, View All, then Import Citations. From the reading list that appears you can add individual citations, sections or the whole list using the checkboxes on the left-hand side. Click Add once you’ve finished.
