While the Library does not have a subscription to the BMJ Best Practice, cohorts whose courses have a substantial NHS placement (Medicine, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Dietetics, Dentistry, Physician Associate placement students) are eligible for an NHS Athens account, which allows access to the BMJ Best Practice.

Requests for Athens accounts and access issues need to be sent directly to athensadmin@newcastle.ac.uk. If you are not on one of the courses mentioned above, unfortunately you are not eligible for an Athens account via Newcastle University.
