Our system will automatically send you a notification when an item you have requested becomes available. This means that it is being processed, so it is recommended to allow one hour from the time of notification before collection.

Multiple requests for items

If you have requested more than one item from the shelves, you will receive a separate notification for each item. Please be aware that if you have not received a notification for each request, then not all of your requests will be available when you come to collect an item.

As such you may wish to wait to collect items in one visit - but do be aware that requests only remain on the shelving for 5 days before being either returned to circulation upstairs, or being allocated to the next requester.

Items out on loan

If you have requested an item that is out on loan, this may take longer to process. If you have not had notification that your item is available it may be that we are waiting for it to be returned by another user. We will let you know if there are any issues with requested items.
