The symbols which appear at the top of your Reading List are useful tools to help you use the list more efficiently.

This Toggle section view symbol allows you to 'toggle' between a full, long list showing all the items on your list - or a shorter view just showing the section headings (e.g. Seminar 1, Seminar 2).

This Refresh this page symbol does just that, it refreshes the page to pick up any recent updates to the list, including if you mark an item as read.

This Filter list symbol will allow you to:

  • filter by sections
  • filter by tags (essential, recommended, background)
  • filter by types (book, book chapter, e-book, journal article, review, webpage)
  • filter by other method (e.g. has due date, Likes, marked as read, marked as unread)

This Compact view symbol will make your list easier to view on a smaller device. It makes each item take up less space on your screen by hiding some of the details being displayed. Click on this icon again to return to the Expanded view.

This Search for item in this Reading List symbol (the magnifying glass) allows you to search by keyword to find an item on your list.
