Book a slot

Go to Book a study space

Choose the library you'd like to study at and then choose your zone (Floor). Select the applicable space that most suits your needs.

Remember not all types of space are available on all floors.

If you require the use of an accessible study room or desk check the “Accessible” box. All spaces will default to either space for 1 or single seat booking.

Bookings can be made up to 14 days in advance.

If you are booking a study space for a group, only 1 person needs to make the booking.

Select the room you want and the date and time you wish to book:

Rooms will be listed and availability shown on the calendar. Slots are bookable for a minimum of 15 minutes to a maximum of 4 hours.  You may book up to 2 slots of 4 hours per day.  The system has a default booking time of 1 hour, but you can change the length of time to suit your needs by scrolling to the bottom of the page and adjusting the “time until” drop down box.

Once you’ve submitted your times you’ll be asked to authenticate using your University login details.

Check and confirm your booking

Check the date and time is correct, read the terms and conditions, and then scroll down and click continue to add your details to submit your booking. Your booking confirmation - including a check in code - will be sent via email.

Turn up and check in

When you arrive either scan the QR code, or visit the link found below the QR code and enter your check-in code from your email. If you forget to check in, the booking system will automatically cancel your booking after 20 minutes, and the space will be available for someone else to book. Remember to check out!

When you’ve finished please make sure the room is left clean and tidy and check out – either using the QR code or use the link and enter the code in your original booking email. This helps us to manage the space and, if you leave early, makes it available for someone else to use.
