The Short Loan collection is a selection of library materials in heavy demand or defined as essential reading by academic staff. There are Short Loan collections on Level 2 in the Philip Robinson Library, and in the Walton and Law Libraries.

Short Loan items can only be borrowed for a maximum of two days and cannot be renewed.

You can borrow a maximum of three items.

Overdue charges for late return of Short Loan items - £1 per hour or part hour (maximum £15)

Philip Robinson and Walton Libraries have self-service units within the Short Loan areas to issue and return items. Please remember to take the receipt from the machine which shows the date and time the book is due back.
