Where an item is not in stock yet or is an information type beyond the Library collections e.g. a website, you are able to use the Manual Entry function to complete a form which will add the details to the reading list.

  1. Click on +Add at the top of the list page and select Manual Entry.

Screenshot of +Add menu

  1. Select the Type of resources e.g. book, article, website etc.
  2. Work through the fields adding the necessary bibliographic information.

  1. Once the fields are complete, choose which section of the reading list you want to add it to, along with the importance tag. e.g. Essential, Background.
  2. Click Add

You can also use the Cite it tool which will automatically pulls the bibliographic information from a website into the reading list. See these instructions on how to use the Cite it tool.
