ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) provides researchers with an online identifier which quickly and easily allows them to find their research and publications online. The benefits of using it are that it can ensure accurate attribution, it simplifies reporting and helps researchers improve the discoverability of their research.

For more information here is some more information, as well as a link for getting your ORCID ID. If you have any further questions you can contact your Liaison Librarian.
