Although EndNote works with most of our databases by importing references directly, results from this database cannot be directly exported into EndNote. So, instead, you need to save your results as a .txt file and import the file into your EndNote library.

To do this, search China Academic Journals (CKNI) as normal, then:

  1. On the results page, select the article(s) you want to export and click on 'Save' (top right of results list).
  2. Select EndNote in the left-hand menu and click on 'Output to local' (top right).
  3. Save the .txt file in your H drive (personal file space).
  4. Open your EndNote library and click on 'File > Import > File'.
  5. Click on 'Choose' then navigate to your .txt file.
  6. Click on 'Open' to select it.
  7. Set the import option to EndNote Import and click on 'Import'.

Your chosen results will now appear in your EndNote library.
