There are a number of small flatbed scanners attached to PCs in the Philip Robinson Library (Levels 2 and 3) and Marjorie Robinson Library Rooms (First floor). The majority of computer clusters managed by NUIT have some PCs with A4 flatbed scanners attached.

Printed guidance is available on the wall behind these units. A comprehensive guide sheet is also attached toe the files section of this FAQ.

If you have problems scanning an entire document make sure you that you have the ‘document’ option selected in the scanner settings and not the ‘photo’ option.

These machines can accommodate pages up to A4 size. These are ideal for scanning pictures, single pages of text or ID documents.

If you need to scan a multi-page or A3 document please use one of our multi function devices (MFDs) - located nearby to the Level 2 computer cluster in PRL.
