Yes. We have two different electronic subscriptions which cover The Financial Times, it depends on which year and how current you need your information to be.

1)     Financial Times. This is directly from FT.com

2)    The Financial Times Historical Archive (1888-2010). This is from Gale Cengage

For more information about the Financial Times online including logging in and searching, please take a look at our help page on the Business Subject Guide.

Access to FT.com is now (since Sept 2020) by SSO (Single Sign-On) which uses the University of Newcastle ID page without entering a separate FT username and password.

All existing FT.com users will have been sent an email with an URL, asking them to re-activate their FT access. Once this is completed any preferences will still be available e.g. saved topics, newsletters, portfolios or alerts.
