We will send you a "Hold Request Awaiting Collection" email asking you to collect the item within 5 days. Check carefully to see from which library the book should be collected.

In the Robinson Library, collect it from the "Hold Requests for Collection shelf" in the Student Texts Collection. Holds are shelved in alphabetical order by your family name and should be issued on the Self Service machine in the Student Texts Collection.

Walton Library hold requests can be collected from the Walton Student Texts Collection whenever the Library is open.

Law Library books can be collected from the service desk during Library open hours.

You can check the progress of your Hold at any time by logging-on to Library Search.

Click on My Account then click on Requests. If the item is ready for collection it will display in the Status column as ‘On Hold until...’. The Pickup location column shows which library to collect from, i.e Robinson, Walton, or Law.

If the item is not yet available the status will display as ‘Waiting in position...’ in queue.
