You can use Skype in our Chatterbox Room - on Floor 1 of the Marjorie Robinson Library Rooms. This room is bookable through the normal Marjorie Robinson Library Study Room booking webpages. The Skype Chatterbox Room on Level 1, Your Space, at the Philip Robinson Library is currently unavailable.
The rooms are often in high demand and it is recommended to book as early as possible so you can make alternative arrangements if they are not available at a convenient time.
Skype is also available on our laptops. You can borrow a laptop from the Library Help Desk on Level 2 of the Philip Robinson Library, or from the Service Desks in the Walton or Law Libraries. Laptops are self service on the First Floor and the Third floor at the Marjorie Robinson Library Rooms. There is also a limited supply of Skype headsets available for loan at the Philip Robinson library.
Please remember you must not use Skype in a silent area such as Level 3 or 4 in the Philip Robinson Library, or Floors 3 or 4 of the Marjorie Robinson Library Rooms.
The Careers Service also has some rooms available at Kings Gate for current students and recent graduates who need a space for Skype or telephone interviews, subject to availability and advance booking. Further details are available on the Careers Service website
