On the Library Search webpage, look for the row of links on the top right-hand tab (Guest eShelf Newcastle University Login NHS/External Login).

If you are a Newcastle University student or staff member, click on Newcastle University Login and use your campus ID.

If you are not a student or staff member, click on NHS/External and enter the U number from the bottom of your smartcard - e.g. U50123456. Your password will have been given to you when you first joined the Library. If you do not know what it is, please contact the Library on 0191 208 7662.

[Please note: The word Guest should have been replaced by your name. If it has been replaced by a number (for example, a1103456 or nup43 or U50123456) then please contact the Library as a minor technical error will need to be corrected.]

You can now click on My Account to see what items you have on loan. You can also renew your loans here.
