To import the chemical term list for the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) referencing style in EndNote 20 follow the instructions in the attached PDF. Before you begin, make sure that you have selected the RSC referencing style in EndNote.

If you find that newer journal titles aren't included on the terms list or some do not have abbreviations, you can manually add a New Term by going to Library > Open Term list > Journals Term Lists then selecting the New Term... button.

In the New Term pop up box, complete the 'Full Journal' and 'Abbreviation 1' boxes. Click Save Journal.

To find the correct abbreviated journal title, use the CAS Source Index (CASSI) Search Tool online.
