When working on a large project, such as a systematic review, you may need to export a large number of references, but most databases will limit your export options to a maximum of 2000 references. The solution is to limit a large number of results into separate ranges of dates which would effectively split them into sets of less than 2000.

Example

With 3700 references try a year range limit of, for example, 1960-2000 and then 2000-2022. If this has produced less than 2000 references in each set of results then import the sets separately, if not then keep trying different date ranges until you find one which works.
