During the vacation we still recall books which have been requested by other Library users, however, we do not reduce the due date like we do in term time.

If you return a recalled book after the due date, even in the vacation, an overdue charge will still be applied.

If you have gone away you can post the item back to us and we will deduct the postage paid from any overdue charge which may have accrued, however, if you will just be a few days late returning the book it will probably be cheaper to pay the overdue charge which will be no more than 45p per day.
