Journal-level metrics and analytic tools can be found in two of the Library's main databases - Scopus and Web of Science.

In Scopus, use the Sources page to compare up to 10 journals on a variety of indicators including CiteScore.

In Web of Science, use the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) tool to compare journals on a variety of customizable indicators including total cites and Journal Impact Factor (JIF).

No metric should be used in isolation as the results can be misleading and are not appropriate in all disciplines. Please contact the Library's Research Services Team for advice and further guidance.
